Giuliano is the president of Boca Raton Travel & Cruises with over 46 years of travel agency experience. Born and educated in Florence, Italy, he began his travel career in Florence and immigrated to South Florida in August 1969.
In January1970, when all is immigration documents were completed, he was able to continue doing what he likes best; the travel business. He was employed in a management capacity by a fast growing travel organization operating travel agencies in Federated department stores in Florida. When he left in 1986, as Vice President and General Manager, the company had 127 offices nationwide and was one of the largest independently owned travel organizations in the country.
Giuliano, together with his wife Judy, started Boca Raton Travel & Cruises in 1989.
Giuliano has accumulated extensive travel knowledge and business expertise. During his many years in the industry, he has been credited with numerous innovative programs and marketing ideas. He has travelled extensively by both air and sea. Travel is a passion that allows Giuliano to use the knowledge and the enthusiasm in making travel a rewarding experience. Giuliano has intimate knowledge of Italy, especially Tuscany and his hometown of Florence.
Giuliano was presented with the “Person of the Year Award” in 1997 by the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce in recognition of his personal contribution of time, talent and energy. He is the travel editor of “The South Florida Business Report” aired by WPEC-TV CBS12 in West Palm Beach.
In 2010, Giuliano and Judy have travelled on a Silversea cruise, a Seabourn cruise and an exciting in-depth tour of Egypt and the Nile.

Judy began in the travel business as a flight attendant in 1968. In l969, she began her career as a travel agent. Since then, she has traveled to all continents of the world, except Antarctica, and has traveled on and/or seen all of the luxury ships, as well as premium ships.
Judy worked for other agencies prior to starting Boca Raton Travel & Cruises in 1989 with her husband, Giuliano Lorenzani.
Judy’s specialties are international travel, luxury cruises and customized independent tours.
Her favorite travel destination is Italy and the Mediterranean coast of Italy and France.
Judy’s last vacation was to Egypt, which she describers as truly the trip of a lifetime and certainly a once in a lifetime experience.

Karen started in this business as a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines in January 1971 and flew the friendly skies for 7 years. She then found her home with Boca Raton Travel & Cruises in January 1993 and describes it as the best!
She is Director of Cruise Sales and basically works with anything that floats. She prides herself in matching each and every person to the cruise of their dreams! Be it two people, a family reunion or celebration, a short getaway, or maybe a World Cruise, cruises are her specialty.
Karen said that it is so difficult to select a favorite destination, but her heart goes between France and Italy as she just loves both!
In October 2010, she enjoyed the Crystal Symphony Canada/New England cruise which sailed from NY to Montreal. Crystal is as wonderful as ever and then some.
Karen has received several certifications from all the major cruise lines.

Kiddingly, Dee has said that she’s been in the travel business since “Noah sold the first two for one on the Ark”. She has been in travel since 1966 when, together with her husband Ron, they purchased their first of three full service travel agencies. In 1986, they sold their businesses and she decided to specialize in selling and training within the cruise-only industry. She thus became affiliated, on a management level, with a major cruise-only selling entity and remained with them in many capacities for 20 years.
In August of 2009, she said that she was fortunate to become affiliated with Boca Raton Travel & Cruises and has enjoyed her entry back into the retail marketplace. She says that it has been challenging and rewarding, and has caused her to tap in to all of her data banks to be able to sell everything from cruises to safaris.
She is now practicing what she preached for all those many years as a trainer in travel – both in sales and marketing. Her job responsibilities with Boca Raton Travel & Cruises are in the leisure department, selling all forms of vacation programs to new and existing clients. One of her other tasks is to stay as current as possible within the industry and as a carry-over from her prior career, to share this information with all others in the agency.
Many times the question is asked regarding her favorite destination and her answer usually is pretty much the same. She feels she has been very fortunate that over the course of time in this industry, she has gotten to travel far and near. She would have to say of those travels, Egypt has been one of her most unique and exciting experiences. She too has a “bucket list” and number one on that list is an African Safari.
On Dee’s last vacation, she and her husband went on the Azamara Quest cruising from Rome to Venice. The reason they chose this sailing was that there were a few major highlights of that itinerary, Kotor, Montenegro and Split, Croatia, which they had never visited. But, even better than that was their few days in Venice at the end of the cruise with their son and his family who live in Vienna, Austria.
Dee is a true believer in training and keeping current within one’s industry. She has participated in many certification courses that have been offered by cruise lines and hotel companies.
The most important thing to know about Dee is that she eats, sleeps and drinks travel. Always has and probably always will. She enjoys what she does, especially when interacting with customers either by phone or in person.

Lisa started her career in the travel industry in 1986. She joined Boca Raton Travel & Cruises in 1991. She has held several positions; including leisure sales, office management, corporate sales, and management. She has loved learning and growing with Boca Raton Travel & Cruises and feels that she has found her niche in the fast paced environment of corporate travel and specialized air. Air travel has become more complex and with more options than ever before. She loves the constant challenge.

Maddy has been a Travel Specialist for more than 32 years. For the past 12 years, she has been with Boca Raton Travel & Cruises.
She specializes in customized international travel as well as in cruises, hotels and tours. She is fluent in 2 languages, English and Portuguese, and considers herself to be a world traveler. Her attention to detail and excellent relationship to her clients ensures that their trips from beginning to end are enjoyable and memorable.

Abby was born in Indonesia and has lived in Virginia, Boston, Minneapolis, and Monterey, CA before moving to Florida. She has been in travel for 25 years, starting with Piedmont Airlines, and then as a trainer and sales representative for TRAMS travel software. She then started working as a consultant with many agencies throughout Florida. She has been full-time with Boca Raton Travel & Cruises for eleven years as the operations and technology director, as well as being support and backup for the agents.
Abby loves the Caribbean islands and cruising especially after ten years in Minnesota, the cold doesn’t appeal to her.

Laurie has been a travel specialist since 1978. She joined the team at Boca Raton Travel & Cruises in 2009 in a support role. Her specialty has always been groups, meetings and incentive travel.
Hawaii is her favorite destination and she has been there many times. She loves to take cruises to relax and be pampered. She’s been to Europe multiple times, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Canada, and all around the Caribbean. Her last cruise was an Eastern Caribbean cruise on Princess Cruises in March 2010.

Although Wendy has only been an “official” cruise consultant for less than one year, she has been involved in the cruise industry for over 20 years through her mother, who has previously owned and operated her own successful cruise agency. Wendy now works at Boca Raton Travel & Cruises with her mother, Eileen Brenner.
Wendy is a graduate of the University of Florida and her passion has always been travel, especially cruises. Her main focus is providing top service to her cruising clients and also planning multi-generational family vacations. She has cruised all over the world, but her favorite place is still close by, in the Caribbean, where she is always able to relax, read a great book and truly enjoy the ship.

Lorrie has been a travel consultant for 25 years. She is a graduate of an accredited Travel Agent’s Program from Florida Atlantic University.
Through her travels in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Southeast Asia, South America, and Europe, she has the knowledge and experience to offer customized vacations to both individuals and groups.
She has organized travel for large groups and created customized travel itineraries for individuals including cruises and tours packages.
Lorrie strives to maintain a good working relationship with her clients by taking responsibility for all their travel needs.

Judy has extensive knowledge of airline ticketing and hotels around the world. She specializes in coordinating travel arrangements for entertainment tours. She is discreet and professional with VIP clients and challenging requests. She is accustomed to last minute changes and is always ready with creative solutions when necessary.

Nan Johnson Lighter has been in the travel business for over 30 years. She has been with Boca Raton Travel & Cruises for over 15 years and previously with Neiman Marcus Travel in Newport Beach, California for many years.
Nan specializes in luxury travel and has traveled most recently to the Baltic on Regent’s 7 Seas Voyager. Among her favorite trips has been East Africa, Myanmar, the Galapagos and golf trips with her husband to China, Spain, Scotland, Argentina and the Dominican Republic. She has traveled all over the world and has been on many cruises and tours.

Paul has been in the travel industry since 1961, where he started with Pan American Airways and then with South African Airways, both in New York. He was later transferred to Florida as Sales Manager for the Southeast region. The latter position afforded him the opportunity to visit Africa nearly 40 times.
He has been with Boca Raton Travel & Cruises since 2005 as a tour escort and consultant.
He recently returned from a vacation in Western Canada visiting Calgary, Alberta, Banff and Lake Louise. He would recommend this holiday for those having a desire to see majestic landscapes, meet friendly people and stay at some outstanding hotels.
If he had to pick a favorite destination, Paul said it would definitely be South Africa….truly “A World in One Country”. The comforts of 5-star luxury hotels whilst sitting in open vehicles watching a diversity of wildlife on a star filled night. MAGICAL!
